I too went through every Palm several times until all that was left was the Centro & I had to replace that 3 times before giving up & going to the BB Curve. The & sign is found by pressing the SYM key just to the right of the spacebar & then hitting the L key. There are many other symbols there as well. Jan Sansevera www.ListedByJan.com

FYI - I uploaded the new update for the BB storm and lost my browser capability and the use of the blackberry as a modem. I spent more than 5 hours with Verizon on the phone to correct the problem. I had to downgrade the software back to the 4.178 version in order to get back the browser and modem. Verizon is now working on the problem.

I had a major problem on the last big Storm update, so I have ignored this new one. I don't understand why an update should cause so many problems, but I don't have time to spend on the phone with Verizon, as I'm sure you didn't --- the update just isn't worth the hassle.

I wish I had held off on updating my BB Storm. I have not had as much trouble as I am reading that some have had. Overall I like the update but there are a few bugs. On both of my storms we have had some text msg issues where a msg will not allow us to open them and I am not a fan of the new text msg format but I will get used to it. My real complaint would be that I can no longer click links to open them from text msg. Now I have to copy and paste them to my browser. Anyone else having this trouble?

Interesting, because I have FaceBook on my Curve and that has not been my experience so far. Battery charge lasts about 2.5 days, which is way better than my TREO. You must have more Friends than I do. Let us all know how much removing it improves your functionality.
