I was going to get the Samsung Rogue and then get a 1-800# routed to the smartphone number. I still haven't found a trusted site for the 1-800# that is affordable. I'm hoping someone good give me some ideas.

www.tollfreenumbers.com to get your 800#. It's $49 for the number then they send you a certificate saying that you own it. Then all you have to do is to find an affordable host - usually it will wave the $100 - 300 activation fee because you have your own 800#. I think they also have a list of 800# hosts where you an choose to park your number.

Thank you for your help. I'm hoping that I will be able to use my cell number instead of a land line. I am also looking for Toll free e fax.

Cell phone providers (reception) has always been a problem in San Diego. I have had many different providers. Verizon seems to be the best here. Which "Smart Phone" has the best reception?

I have had my 888 number for many years now and don't remember having to pay for it, but I pay a monthly fee of around $5 plus tax. The company is PowerNet Global (877)599-3087.

Thanks for the info! Do you pay for the minutes & do you get a print out of the incoming calls?

Yes, you get a detailed statement showing the numbers and duration of the calls and yes you pay for each phone call in addition to the monthly charge. Good luck.
