Palm OS and Microsoft Tag

Has anyone heard when or if Microsoft Tag is going to have an app for Palm (both Pre and Palm OS) or Android smartphones? I've been watching their website for a while and notice that not only is there no news but the website has several broken links. I can't believe that Microsoft would abandon this technology.

If you haven't heard of Tag, it's a way to create what in essence is a personal barcode that you print onto marketing materials. End users download a simple app that works along with the smartphone's camera application. You center the Tag in the app and it automatically opens the website of your choosing on the smartphone's web browser. This eliminates the need for typing long URL's or texting shortcodes. It's amazing when you first experience it.

I'm putting tags on all of my flyers and for sale signs but, because so few people know about Microsoft Tag it's not the marketing tool that I think it could be. Plus, I can't use it on my Treo 755P. Any insights would be appreciated.
