Synch of Treo 700P

You didn't say whether you hotsynced to Palm Desktop or Outlook. Please look at the other to see if there. Also double check to see if you have more then one user in Your Palm Desktop.

Dick -- sorry about the incomplete information. I guess I got too excited about there actually being a group like this! There is only user. I synch to Palm, not outlook.. I never use outlook..

Before you go to far if you have "Outlook" could you look to see if somehow it's there. Also if you still have the CD that has the Palm Desktop on it reload, don't delete yet just have it over write.

I have Palm 700p that I love! Doesn't mean it hasn't had some issues though. Why is it necessary to Hot Sync daily if you have Wireless Sync (Verizon). I've had no problems with the wireless keeping email, contacts, tasks and memos flawlessly. Fighting temptation to get Storm - any new predictions about release of Pre??

The only bad thing with wireless syncing is it does not back up any extra programs like camera or 3rd party software. I have add folks lose pictures they could never get back. If you use your 700p to open lock boxes then the program is not backed up.

Boy the smartphone world is bussing. Here's a piece I read today;

"Palm won't narrow down the Pre's release date beyond "first half of 2009," but the Palm reps I met with said it'd be "soon." Rumors have Sprint store personnel already being trained in demonstrating it to customers, indicating a "street date" of late April or early May."
