I have been researching ways or software to forward text messages to email. At first, that may seem counter intuitive, but the advantages are similar to what we do with email. We save email and manipulate text within email as needed, so why not do the same with text messages?

I like the "immediacy" of a text message, but the purpose seems defeated when I am at my PC or laptop and not paying attention to my Blackberry. Often, I may not notice that I have a text message for a couple of hours, but I check email on the PC continuously.

I found Cortado (free) "sms2desk," but the free version fixated itself on my business email account, and you can only configure which email address you want to use by buying the "premium" version. I never want my personal communication via text to go on the brokerage's server, so I had to uninstall the application before I could try it extensively.

I have also found OZEKI NG - SMS Gateway

I really don't want to install and uninstall applications to evaluate their performance, so can anyone suggest a method using Outlook or an application that can do this?
