<p> For years I taught the Date and Time Stamp with the handheld PDA&#39;s, well don&#39;t forget it still works on the new Treo&#39;s. Most folks don&#39;t even know it exists, just have your cursor flashing then type in the letter s, then hit the ALT key next to the space bar and a drop down screen appears, pick the curse e, then enter DS for date stamp or DTS for date and time stamp. </p> <p> What&#39;s cool is it works in Documents to Go so if you build a template using a word document you can Date Stamp it when that task is done. <p> I&#39;m up to my eyeballs in frustration over syncing. My Palm Treo 755p will not sync my Palm Desktop calendar or contacts. All else will sync. Maddening. Now I do suspect it has something to do with also having wireless sync. The only reason I have wireless sync is: one day my phone completely crashed.......wiped everything out and I was out showing property (there went my supra key and phone numbers). I had to get to my computer to get everything back. Well, what if I&#39;m travelling and this happens? Wireless sync at least would put me back in business. Dick, I recall in your class you said something about staying away form wireless sync. I need to know what to do and how to do it! </p> <p> Thanks, Ann </p>

<p> I am relatively new to Blackberry. </p> <p> I have pictures or a logo for contacts in Outlook 2007. They will not sync to my Blackberry Curve. I am using BIS. </p> <p> I have searched the web and not found a satisfactory answer to this issue. <p> Hello! Hoping someone can advise what to do.<br /> I have a 755 P and it&#39;s not syncing with the Palm (where I have my memos) but DOES sync with Agent Office. Is it possible to have both happen? I thought it did work, but when I add a memo on my desktop, it never updates the 755P; it&#39;s the same if I update on the phone..it doesn&#39;t update on the laptop. I don&#39;t use the Palm addresses (there are some on the laptop) but DO use the Agent Office addresses. </p> <p> Thanks for any help! Judy </p>

<p> I came across this BB app that addresses the issue of the screen timing out on the Blackberry. Normally, the maximum display time offered is 2 minutes. This app allows you to customize the settings. </p> <p> For example, I like my screen to always be on when the BB is on external power, but I want it to turn off automatically when it isn&#39;t. </p> <p> (In my car I have a modified belt clip for my BB, as a custom, secure, upright mount. Great group! </p> <p> Some may, or may not know that Verizon Wireless will be giving away free BlackBerrys (of equal or lesser value) with the purchase of a BlackBerry (including the Storm) and a two-year commitment. <p> Another issue. The phone (Palm 700 Treo) has pushed e-mail via wireless. When you press menu, info &amp; scroll to mail, it&#39;s using memory even though everything has been deleted and no mail is showing anywhere. We&#39;ve done a hard reset and it cleared ALL items out. Phone had been freezing. Supra e-Key would/could not download due to &quot;not enough memory&quot;. Today, starting fresh, it&#39;s begun the same situation. Tech&#39;s don&#39;t seem to be able to figure out why. </p> <p> Any advice? </p>

<p> For those of you that own either a Treo 680,700p, 755 or Centro here&#39;s a hidden trick. Hold down your house button, sometimes called the home key and keep it held down. It opens up a drop down screen with the last 8 programs you opened. </p> <p> Then using your thumb on the five way navigator, scroll up and down to select the program you want to go to and smash the center button. </p> <p> If your like me you live in four or five programs and this way you can access them quickly! </p> <p> Dick </p>

<p> I upgraded to Palm Centro Smartphone 6 mo ago so I can easily access the I-Box for showings with its infrared technology... Well, 2 mo ago I bought an HP Touchsmart Computer ($3K). I didn&#39;t realize it had a 64 Bit Operating System and now I find out that the 64 Bit OS can&#39;t sync with the Palm!!! I can&#39;t be the only one out there that is having this problem.? I have 400+ contacts in my Palm database. Any solutions? </p>

<p> I have had the 750 for about a year and reception at home is bad to very bad. Good in most places. swapped it out and it seems a little better, </p> <p> ATT store told me it is not know for good reception. </p> <p> Any similar complaints or solutions. </p> <p> had Sprint with a treo 650, almost as bad at home location( 1/2 mile from tower) </p> <p> </p>

<p> For one who doesn&#39;t know how to figure these things out, please forgive me for asking what seems to me must be a &#39;dumb&#39; question but here goes...When I&#39;m on the web why do I only get a small square that looks like a red sunset, the sun, and the ocean (well, that&#39;s my take on it) where pictures should be? </p>

<p> I am interested in Tips &amp; Tricks for the new Blackberry Storm. I bought it the first day it came out, after struggling with the Treo 700w for nearly 3 years (hated it). This is so much easier to use, but I realize I have not even scratched the surface of the many benefits. If anyone has any tips, I&#39;d love to hear them! </p>

<p> My Treo 680 has been faithful until recently when it does crash and only comes alive when I remove and reinsert the battery. Does this mean I may need to buy the new PRE when it comes out? I can just imagine the cost??? </p>

<p> <span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial">My wife and I have Treo 650&#39;s. They keep crashing. The only way to get it working (temporally) is to pull the battery then reinsert it. We have done everything else recommended by this group, Treo support &amp; Verizon to correct this crashing.<o:p></o:p></span> </p> <p> <span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial">We are considering getting new cell phones.
