Things appear to be moving on my short sale. The lender is ASC (servicing for Wells Fargo). I submitted an offer on April 17. The negotiator was assigned by Tuesday, April 21 and the BPO is being done today (Sunday, April 26). The appraisal has also been ordered. So far, the response has been great! I called the lender regularly and when I received the offer, I called them to let them know (before sending it). I then called 72 hours after submission to check status.
I will let you know how things progress.

This is my first post. We've been working short sales here on the west coast of Florida. I'm working on my e-Pro designation at the same time and I'm learning so much. This group is very helpful seeing what everyone else is doing.

So far, we've found that having a good team in place is essential to success with the short sales: CPAs, attorneys, negotiators. And paramount is good communication with everyone involved.
