The Ft Benning / Ft Knox BRAC Realignment has been finalized! Columbus, GA, Ft. Benning, and the Phenix City, AL areas are gearing up for the movement and the population boom it will bring.
 
Local school officials are also planning trips to Washington to request more money for the impact.
 
New homes, and homes in good condition, are on the market but do not stay long. A sure response to the BRAC Realignment will likely be a sharp incline in home prices upon the onset in 2009.
 
Not only is the area getting almost 10,000 new jobs due to the BRAC Realignment, Aflac has also announced that they will be hiring 2,000 people over the next few years.
Columbus, GA, Ft. Benning, and the Phenix City, AL areas are all exciting place to live right now!
