Hi Cathryn,
Data Security:
Update Lane employs mirrored servers with full redundancy in a hosting environment. Data is constantly being backed up and "reinstalled" on alternative servers. If the main server ever crashes, a backup server is instantly ready to take its place. All files and information are also encrypted.
You are right. We have been so focused on keeping Update Lane simple and to the point we forgot to tell more about us. We'll update the About page to include a description of who we are and how Update Lane came to exist.
Dan
Ryan,
Missed this post earlier. Under NO circumstances does any of our users give Update Lane permission to put private transactional, personal, client, or any other private information in the general public eye. That would be crazy and irresponsible. We would be out of business before we can even get in business. But, I think you know that.
You control the content you post and you allow us to process it. Data security is extremely important to us. First, as the agent managing the transaction, you assign who has access into your transaction. You assign client or guest (coop agent, lender, title, et al) roles and then those users can only see what you give them permission to see. After you create your account, go to Guest Access - Guest Roles on the nav bar. You'll be able to view specific permissions and what client and guest roles can and cannot do.
We also encrypt all of our information and employ dual dedicated servers in a secure, offsite, hosting environment.
I'll follow-up with you tomorrow to make sure your questions were answered.
Cheers,
Dan
I recently stopped TOP PRODUCER too and am seacrhcing for a system i will actually use...hopefully easier for me. Also completing my e pro course so thanks for all the good information everyone. pk
Patrick,
Are you looking for a Contact Management program or an Online Transaction Management Program?
If it is a Contact Management you are looking for, are you interested in Web based system, like Top Producer, or Computer Software?
If you are looking for an Online Transaction Platform, which one(s) have you used?
