Real Estate & Politics! My Very First Blog…

Jun. 12, 2008
Tagged with: real estate, realtor
I’ve commented on a few other Blogs before but, this is my own.
So, here goes…
Now that the political landscape is laid and choices for potential candidates are before us. Buyers seem to be a bit more willing to make a commitment to purchase a home. And sellers are a little more apt to listen to their Realtor and market their home at a reasonable market price. A cycle in real estate that we have seen before, folks just get nervous around election times and about what choices they’ll have. This cycle has been a bit more dramatic with the multitude of foreclosures everywhere scaring people, and some insecurity about employment. We know as real estate professionals that in this market there are lots of home choices for buyers, and some really good bargains. People will always need a place to live. I don’t know about you, but, I am sure tired of hearing how “bad” things are. The news media, the politicians…This is America! A free country where everyone is able to make a choice for themselves! It is still the best place to live, work and raise your families and owning real estate is still a good investment! – How goes it in your neck of the woods?
