St. Patrick's Day Parade

The annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will make it's way through beautiful Balboa Park on Saturday, March 15 at 11 a.m.
The event is fun for the whole family. In addition to the parade, there will also be a Kid's Zone with games and rides, musician showcase stage, traditional Irish dancers, Celtic Village and beer garden.
I'm going to try to be there with my girls, although I have to admit I'll probably chicken out if it looks like rain. If it's nice, keep an eye out for us.
Hey, just a quick note that I made it to the parade with Marisa and Emily. We had a rough time finding parking, but luckily we found a spot at the end of Spruce right next to the pedestrian suspension bridge. Was my first time across it, and worth it, really nice view of the canyon far below(and a little scary). The kids had a great time watching the parade, riding the kid zone attractions, and making their own snow cones. I could only drool while watching the beer garden inhabitants.
Ran into Danica there and visited with Ann at the chihuahua booth. Didn't see any other IC'ers, but some may have arrived later...
Geez! I had no idea the parade was like 9 million miles long...that was my first time. Next time I will definitely bring some chairs. We got there at like 10:30- 10:45 and had no trouble finding parking right next to the Space Center. Sooo many cute dogs in lil' green hats and sweaters. I must be dense because we completely missed the Kid Zone... where the heck was it?
