All communities you are subscribed to will appear, along with the delivery method and e-mail address subscribed to each community. <p> Follow the &quot;Rules of the Road&quot; </p> <p> 1. Refrain from obscenities<br /> <br /> 2. Don&#39;t violate any laws, including copyright, antitrust, licensing, as well as, state/federal/local laws and regulations affecting electronic communications. This probably includes the REALTORS® Code of Ethics, if you happen to be a REALTOR®.<br /> <br /> 3. Don&#39;t violate client confidentiality. You never know who might be listening. Messages can be forwarded, left on printers, etc. Change names to protect the innocent, and you. A general rule of thumb is &quot;don&#39;t put anything in an e-mail message that you would not want published on the front page of the New York Times.&quot;<br /> <br /> 4. Absolutely no copyright violations when posting. This means writings, software, etc. &quot;Fair use&quot; and reprinting with permission is OK, but that&#39;s it. Reread point 2.<br /> <br /> 5. No personal attacks. You can disagree and still treat the other person with dignity.<br /> <br /> 6. No personal attacks. Send them a private message rather than a public disparagement.<br /> <br /> 7. Be concise, unless conciseness isn&#39;t called for.<br /> <br /> 8. Don&#39;t post personal messages to one or two people on the forum. There are many others who will be reading this Digest. Use direct E-mail to respond to one person unless the response would be of interest to many of our participants. One of our goals at the InternetCrusade is that each of us make many new friends all over the country.<br /> <br /> 9. If you use them, disable vCard electronic business cards and any Return Receipts.<br /> <br /> 10. Before you reply to something in the forum, proof and edit before sending and make sure you only quote a few lines rather than the entire digest/posting to which you respond.<br /> <br /> 11. No blatant advertising or marketing allowed. It&#39;s ok to let other members know what you do in your signature or tagline, especially if you are contributing to the conversation. Anyone that drops in out of nowhere and posts an advertisement to the community may be removed at the discretion of the Community Admins.<br /> <br /> 12. Signature and tagline should be brief, no more than 5 lines especially if you post to the list frequently.<br /> <br /> 13. You understand that RealTown may repurpose and redistribute material you contribute and you grant RealTown and InternetCrusade a perpetual license to republish the material at their sole discretion. </p>

<p> To display your photo on RealTown, you must add it to your profile. Simply login to RealTown and click the &#39;Edit my Profile&#39; link on the right side of the screen. If you haven&#39;t recently, it is a good idea to read and update your current profile submissions. If you wish to only add your photo at this time, click the &#39;Picture&#39; link just above the profile editor. You will be brought to a screen that allows you to upload most image types, simply click &#39;Browse&#39; then find the image on your computer&#39;s hard drive and click &#39;Open&#39;. Click &#39;Save and Continue&#39; to upload your photo. </p>

<p> If you are reading a message from the community in your inbox or on the web, you may click on the name or photo of the poster to be brought to their profile. From there, you can click the &#39;Send Message&#39; below their profile image. If this button does not exist, this means they don&#39;t want to receive RealTown mail. Their email address may be listed to the right of their photo or in their signature... If it is, you are welcome to contact the member. </p>

<p> Login to <a href="http://realtown.com/">http://RealTown.com</a> and click the &#39;Edit my Profile&#39; link on the right side of the screen. The first page (Personal) allows you to edit your display name as well as other personal details. Click &#39;Save and Continue&#39; from each page to be walked through the entire profile editor. </p>

<p> To change your RealTown display name, login to <a href="http://realtown.com/">http://RealTown.com</a> and click the &#39;Edit my Profile&#39; link on the right side of the screen. The first page (Personal) allows you to edit your display name as well as other personal details. If you hadn&#39;t set your display name yet, you may want to continue with the profile editor once you have saved your changes by clicking &#39;Save and Continue&#39;. </p>

<p> Make sure that any email address you would send to the communities from is on file with RealTown. To see if the address you are using is on file and/or add it, login to <a href="http://realtown.com/">http://RealTown.com</a> then go to <a href="http://realtown.com/myrealtown/manage-email.php">http://realtown.com/myrealtown/manage-email.php</a>. You should add any email address you might be sending to the communities from. If it does not let you add a particular email address stating that the address you are trying to add is already on file, this means you have duplicate RealTown accounts. To merge or remove these accounts, please send an email to <a href="mailto:CustomerService@RealTown.com">CustomerService@RealTown.com</a> indicating which account you would like to keep. We will merge your accounts and confirm. </p> <div> If the email address you&#39;d like to use is already in your list of RealTown email addresses, your display name is probably not set. To set your display name and edit other details in your RealTown profile, login to your RealTown account and visit: <a href="http://realtown.com/myrealtown/myprofile.php">http://realtown.com/myrealtown/myprofile.php</a>. </div>

<div> There are a few reasons this could be happening. The most common reason is that the address you are sending FROM is not on file at RealTown.com, or it is not associated with your main profile. To see if the address you are using is on file (or add it), login to <a href="http://realtown.com/">http://RealTown.com</a> then go to <a href="http://realtown.com/myrealtown/manage-email.php">http://realtown.com/myrealtown/manage-email.php</a>. You should add any email address you might be sending to the communities from. If it does not let you add a particular email address stating that the address you are trying to add is already on file, this means you have duplicate RealTown accounts. To merge or remove these accounts, please send an email to <a href="mailto:CustomerService@RealTown.com">CustomerService@RealTown.com</a> indicating which account you would like to keep. <p> You have two options for replying to the community… e-mail and web.<br /> </p> <div> <b class="c1">E-mail:</b><b> <br /></b> </div> <div> First, find the post or discussion you&#39;d like to reply to in your inbox. This would either be in a digest or individual message you received from our community. </div> <div> Once you have found the post, click the &#39;Reply to Community&#39; link at the bottom of that posting. </div> <div> This will open a pre-addressed e-mail with the same subject as the post you are replying to. Don&#39;t change the subject line. The body of the e-mail will read &quot;<i>Please copy and paste a portion of the post you are responding to in order for others to follow the context of the thread. (**then delete this line**)</i>&quot; </div> <div> So, if you like, you can copy/paste in a portion of the post you are referring to-- to give the message some context, or you can just begin typing your message. Once you are done, simply click the &#39;Send&#39; button in your mail client. </div> <div> This will send the message to our moderators. Once they approve of the post, it will be released to the entire community both on the web and via e-mail.<br /> <br /> </div> <div class="c2"> Web:<br /> </div> <div> <span class="c3">If you are starting out on the web…</span> Find the post/discussion you&#39;d like to respond to then skip the e-mail inbox instructions. </div> <div> <span class="c3">If you are starting out in your e-mail inbox</span>… find the message you&#39;d like to reply to, and click the &#39;View/Reply on the Web&#39; link. If you are already logged into RealTown.com you will be taken directly to the entire thread as it appears on the web. If you are not logged in, you will be asked to login. Check the &#39;Remember Me&#39; check box if you don&#39;t want to have to login next time. Once you input your correct login info, you will be taken to the entire thread as it appears on the web. </div> <div> </div> <div> Once you are looking at the discussion you would like to respond to, click the &#39;Reply&#39; link at the bottom of any post. This will bring you to an editor window where you can input your response. Once you are done writing, click &#39;Submit&#39;. Your post will be added to the discussion on the web immediately, but is still subject to removal if the moderators don&#39;t approve of the content. This post will go out to the community via e-mail once approved by our moderators. </div>

<p> <strong>Via email:<br /></strong><br /> Find the discussion you wish to add to in your inbox. At the bottom of the message, there will be a &#39;Reply to List&#39; link. Clicking it will open a pre-addressed email with a subject line that tells our system where to add your post (so please leave the subject line in tact). Simply write your message and click &#39;Send&#39;. Your message will be sent to our moderators and will be released within 24hrs. Keep in mind some communities are moderated differently than others, so there is a chance your post will display immediately.<br /> </p> <div> <strong><br /> From the web:</strong> </div> <div> <br /> Find the discussion you wish to add to on <a href="http://realtown.com/Community">http://RealTown.com/Community</a> and open it. At the bottom of the discussion, there will be a &#39;Reply&#39; link. A comment box will appear. Simply prepare your subject line and the body of your message and click &#39;Submit&#39;. Your message will be sent to our moderators and will be released within 24hrs. Keep in mind some communities are moderated differently than others, so there is a chance your post will display immediately. </div>
