We have all heard the news reports.....historically low interest rates, $8000 first time home buyer tax credit, falling prices.  It all sounds like the time is NOW to buy versus rent.  When I talk with people looking for rental properties, they are resistant to discussing a home purchase instead.  Why???  Do some people think, "there is no way I can buy" or are they hesitant of maintenance and responsibility for the property?  Or it is a tax or insurance bill?  So many of these items can be addressed and handled with minimal effort.  The advantages to home ownership so vastly outweigh the advantages of renting.....so, ask a Texas REALTOR to learn more.  Why not do something that will benefit you, your family, your children and allow you to gain in tougher economic times?
