Laura Kovacs Visits Peru; Sees Need For CARE
Firsthand, Aims To Make A Difference

Laura Kovacs would be too shy to tell you that she was recently listed as an “Icon in Real Estate” by Broker Agent Magazine in Phoenix, AZ. So we’ll tell you for her.  And an Icon she is. Laura is truly the “go-to expert” on both corporate relocation and referral services within the real estate industry - and the inspiring leader of a superb team of professionals.

A REALTOR since 1976, Laura started with Realty Executives Relocation at it’s inception in 1994. She is a CRP (Certified Relocation Professional) and has her LTG (Leadership Training Graduate) from the Women’s Council of REALTORS. She is serving as the 2006/07 Chair of the Professional Development Group for the Arizona Assn. of REALTORS, and is the current President of the Arizona Relocation Alliance.

"I was traveling in Peru when I received Joeann’s email about the project. I read through the information and set it aside until my return. Joeann contacted me again and thought I would be a good addition to the group. I can never resist Joeann’s drive and enthusiasm for everything she puts herself into. Having just hiked the Salcantay Trail (40 miles) to visit Macchu Piccu, and seen the need for a program like CARE and the tremendous benefit it can bring to an area – I couldn’t resist to help somehow. I know that my small contribution of time and energy WILL make a global difference – and I may never have that opportunity in my life again!"--Laura Kovacs
