In north Gwinnett County, the city of Buford Georgia presents several new home subdivisions and neighborhoods for home buyers; this area is convenient to much shopping, I-85 and highway 316. View Buford, Georgia new subdivisions, neighborhoods and new homes.

As the home buyer's agent, I helped a couple, who was a first time home buyer, to purchase a nice new house in Buford GA. These new houses in that neighborhood have been priced as high as the $350’s. However, the turmoil in the housing market has caused much disruption for home builders; and consequently, forced liquidation prices to commence. While the home was still owned by the builder, the bank actually handled the negotiations. The price on this particular new home in Buford Georgia was slashed to around $280,000 with roughly $16,700 in contributions toward closing fees; not only did this couple receive the lower price and incentives, but they received an extra buyer bonus worth approximately $2,800 from us -- which is a home buyer rebate. It turned out to be a good overall deal.

Work with a lender or mortgage company that you can trust. Oftentimes, your buyer’s agent can point you in the right direction.
