Aug. 26, 2006 - Out and About for Galen #10

These two houses (one is torn down on the left) have been playing "tag you're IT" for quite some time. First the one on the right would go up for sale, then it would come off market and the one on the left would go up for sale. You'd think a builder would want both of them. Likely someone bought it to build a house for themselves. Now the guy on the right has a for rent sign instead of a for sale sign. Guess he wanted more than people were willing to pay for his lot, so he's going to keep renting it while the house on the left goes up. Seems it will be pretty noisy for the new tenant. Might be better if someone built both houses at the same time.

Wouldn't it be great if someone could give you a "to do" list when you were ready to start your company that would guarantee your success? Even better, what about a "to don't" list of things to avoid at all costs? This appears to be a "spam" type comment because it doesn't relate to this particular post. I am going to leave it, as it would have been an appropriate comment to my most recent post. Actually, I did start a group called "on our own" so that other Brokers starting their own business could consult one another with their trials and errors. I find that generic business advices for retail business and even other service industry business are not as helpful as talking with people within the industry itself. Hopefully your reference to homebuiness.mm01.info is helpful to someone, and I will take a peek at it as well. I have put it here as "anonymous" commenters are not permitted html in the comments.
