Are you writing loan numbers on the individual pages of your Short Sale package? Stop!!!

Jun. 11, 2009

Short Sale Tip of the Day!!

Loans numbers can be really, really long, right?  It takes way too much time to write them on each and every page of your Short Sale package!  What about creating labels?  Still, too much time!

Microsoft Word has a Header/Footer Function.

Create a blank template with only the header (positioned top right) and the footer (positioned bottom left) on the page.  For both the header and the footer, type in the loan number.  14-16 point font is recommended.  Next, take all the paper out of your printer and place all the contents of your package into the paper tray of your printer.  Make sure you have the package in the right way to where it will actually print on the side you want it to print on.  Select 100 copies and press print.  The printer will keep printing the loan number an all pages until it runs out.  Then, once your package is complete, cancel print job.  You're done and the printer zipped it out in a matter of a few minutes.

The tip is brought to you by the Team at America's Home Rescue.
